The Wren Annex
The Wren Annex is the converted carriage house at the back of the property, accessible through its own entrance off the garden path. It is the only room at The Wren House with a kitchenette — a two-burner stove, a small refrigerator, and enough counter space to make coffee and breakfast without leaving your quarters.
The space is open-plan on the ground floor: the kitchen flows into a sitting area with a sofa and a reading chair. The bedroom is upstairs, in the loft, with a king bed under exposed beams and a skylight that turns the ceiling into weather. The bathroom is downstairs, with a full shower and the only heated floor in the house.
The Annex is for guests who want the Wren House experience with a degree of independence. You have your own entrance, your own schedule, your own kitchen. You are part of the property but not in the middle of it. Some guests stay for a week. The Annex makes that feel natural.
There is one NVC building that a certain well-known local notary has never been inside. This is it. We don't know why. He doesn't either.
